Pesticide Applicator/Operator In-Person Testing this Winter

Pesticide Applicator/Operator In-Person testing will again be available locally this winter. Sessions will be held in Edwards, Richland, and Wayne Counties. Testing is free and is provided by the Illinois Department of Agriculture and Illinois Extension. Individuals must register for testing. To register visit https://agr.illinois.gov/pesticides/in-person-testing.html or call your local Illinois Extension Office: Edwards County – 618-445-2934, Lawrence County – 618-943-5018, Richland County – 618-395-2191, Wabash County – 618-262-5725, or Wayne County – 618-842-3702.

Testing dates by County: Testing times at all sites will be from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

  • Edwards County: December 8, 2023, January 12, 2024, and February 1, 2024, at the Edwards County Farm Bureau Basement Meeting Room, 15 S 5th Street, Albion, IL.
  • Richland County: December 4, 2023, January 5, 2024, and February 13, 2024, at the Richland County University of Illinois Extension Office, 306 S Fair Street, Olney, IL.
  • Wayne County: December 13, 2023, January 18, 2024, and February 21, 2024, at the Wayne County University of Illinois Extension Office, 2B Frontier Drive, Fairfield, IL.
