Join us for a community-focused presentation and discussion on geothermal energy, as part of our Geothermal Illinois series. Scott Tess will discuss decarbonization of the energy sector with a focus on the challenge of decarbonizing commercial and residential heating. Jane Sullivan will cover geothermal energy at the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District’s Administration Facility and converting a public sector commercial building to geothermal energy. Peter Murphy will be discussing the process of designing and implementing the community-based education and group purchasing program Geothermal Urbana Champaign. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q and A following the presentation.
