Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists
Take your love of gardening to the next level.
Master Gardeners
Master Gardeners are more than just gardening enthusiasts. They are trained horticulture experts who serve their communities through service projects and the delivery of educational programs. Master Gardeners have a sincere desire to learn and share home horticulture information, have practical experience or knowledge of gardening, and want to impact the community positively.
Master Gardener training is offered four times per year in an online format. Applications to become a master gardener are accepted anytime.

Master Naturalists
Caring for and sharing our natural resources is everyone’s responsibility. It is important to care for and protect the place where we live to ensure that it is “fit for the future.” Master Naturalists learn about many aspects of our natural resources including plants, wildlife, archaeology, geology, and ecology. They learn practical techniques that help professionals with managing natural areas and discover exciting ways to educate others in their community about the wondrous natural world.
Master Naturalist training is offered several times a year. Applications to become a master naturalist are accepted anytime.
