Jane Shaw grew up and currently resides in Mt. Carroll. Her career began with Illinois Extension in 2013 as extra help. In 2016, Jane became the Office Support Assistant for Carroll County, and in 2021 she moved to the Sterling office as office support for Carroll, Lee and Whiteside Counties. She is excited to serve her local communities and youth as the Carroll County 4-H Program Coordinator in 2023 and beyond. 

Her passion for 4-H was sparked when her three children were involved in the Carroll County Kids 4-H Club and Ogle County Horse Drill team. Her children have since aged out of the program, but her passion for 4-H has strengthened. Her goal as 4-H program coordinator is to expand the reach and growth of 4-H so more families can see and experience all the possibilities 4-H has to offer.
