Learn how to make changes in your community by gaining knowledge in conflict leadership, developing a deeper understanding of 4-H, how 4-H can benefit your community, and engaging with local stakeholders.

9-9:30 – Introduction & Icebreaker/escape boxes

9:30- 12pm – Conflict Leadership with Mark Becker

·        How to respond to conflict

·        Deescalating

·        Listening

·        Roll playing

·        How conflict arises in perspectives of 4-H

12-12:30 – lunch break

12:30- 1:15 - What is 4-H to you, to our community. Why does 4-H matter?

1:15-1:45 - Create elevator speeches about 4-H with small groups

1:45-2:30 Practice with other 4-H’ers in room & review/evaluate

2:30-3pm Give speeches to local stakeholders & Recap
