Spinning Christmas Trees:  How fast can you make your mini Christmas tree spin?  This science experiment will put your Christmas tree design skills, combined with batteries, magnets and copper wire to the test.

Christmas Take Root: Bring your Christmas green thumbs and create a new gift tradition! We’ll learn about the Christmas cactus, propagate cacti and prepare a gift for someone special.

Holiday Herb House planter: Have you ever wanted to design your own house? Come decorate a porcelain house and learn about planting herbs and taking care of them.

Soft as a Snow Cloud: Explore reactions while making some holiday “cloud dough” and learn about the weather outdoors while staying warm indoors!

Holiday Yarn Painting: Learn about Mexican Huichol Yarn Paintings while creating your own holiday yarn-painted-themed artwork!

Diamond art ornaments: Sparkly, shiny, and oh-so-beautiful. These ornaments will put your fingers and hands to the test! Diamond art ornaments are sure to catch your eye

3 Terre Cotta pot ornaments: Do you like miniature things? Come create 3 mini terra-cotta pot ornaments, a Christmas cactus, a gumball machine, and a gingerbread house. They are sure to make your tree magical this season!

Sweet and yummy goodies: Can you smell that sugary goodness? Come create yummy treats to give as gifts or enjoy for yourself. We will be making homemade cocoa mix, polar bear cupcakes and marshmallow pops. Who doesn’t love a sweet treat?

Snow Crystal Formations: Have you ever wondered how crystals form in our atmosphere? Why is it that each snowflake is said to be unique? There is a fun and exciting way to see this unique formation using solid carbon dioxide. You will also be sent home with a fun activity you can do with your family to create unique snowflake decorations using the borate mineral ion for more STEM fun.
