Do you like to whip up your own recipes? Do you have a flair for the dramatic? Do you dream of competing in one of those reality show cooking competitions?
4-H members can participate in the Family Food Challenge with their family, as a club, or as a small group. There is a 2-person minimum per team and a 5-person maximum per team. Get creative with your team’s name or have fun dressing up to match your team’s name.
Participation includes preparing a dish with mystery ingredients - no recipes needed. Teams will present their dish to a set of mystery judges, and prizes will be awarded based on best presentation, taste, quality, team theme, and teamwork.
The first 12 teams will receive a spot on a first come, first served basis by registering by March 16. This event is sponsored by the Logan County 4-H Ambassadors. Any 4-H family from Logan, Menard, or Sangamon County is welcome to participate.
