Although fulfilling, a busy life sometimes makes eating and staying healthy a challenge. Whether juggling a busy schedule for yourself or planning around other's busy schedules, finding time to prepare and cook healthy meals can be difficult. However, the more active our lives are, the more critical it is for us to choose healthy foods.

The slow cooker is one kitchen appliance that has been helping singles and families prepare delicious, healthy meals for decades. Slow cookers, commonly called Crock-Pots, offer a convenient and cost-efficient way to get dinner on the table when you have limited time. With a bit of meal prep and knowledge, you can enjoy almost anything in your slow cooker.

Let us help you master the art of using the slow cooker with the program Busy Lives, Easy Meals: Mastering the Slow Cooker. During this program, we will cover the benefits of healthy eating in a fast-paced world, slow cooker basics such as selecting the correct size and shape to make the most of your cooking time, and the best time to add various ingredients to maximize the taste and texture of foods. We will also discuss food safety basics and leave you with recipes to try at home.
