4-H Shooting Sports | Archery

Under the guidance of a certified instructor, youth will learn the safe and responsible handling of archery equipment, and more specifically proper and safe archery shooting techniques. Youth will gain knowledge and respect for good sportsmanship, responsibility, and ethics involved in shooting sports. No experience necessary, all equipment provided. Open to 4-H members ages 8-18. Based on 4-H age (age as of September 1, 2025). 

 

This club is open to youth in both Christian and Montgomery counties. 

 

When: Oct. 12 and 26 and Nov. 2 and 9

Location: Butler Fairgrounds (Beginning Oct. 26, meetings will be held at the Montgomery County Extension Office in Hillsboro)
Cost: $10.00 - check made out to Montgomery County Shooting Sports. This check can be given to the club leader at the first meeting or mailed to 1 Industrial Park Drive, Hillsboro, IL 62049.
