Camp Whitetail Hunter Safety Camp is a weekend packed with outdoor fun that provides a full hunter safety course with both classroom and hands-on learning, with lodging and family!
- October 24 - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm | Early arrivals (optional)
- October 25 - 9:15 am to 8 pm | Required for course
- October 26 - 9:15 am to 3:30 pm | Required for course
This hunter safety course will offer in the field tree stand safety, live fire with air rifle and shotgun, as well as white-tail deer hunting program and wild turkey hunting program. Guests are welcome to arrive Friday evening to enjoy a relaxing evening at 4-H Memorial Camp with fishing, boating, hiking, and campfire. If the weather is unfavorable, there will be a warm fireplace in the dining hall. Lodging will be in log cabins in assignments of 2-10 people per cabin. Bedding will not be provided.
There is a fee for each person attending the event that will cover lodging and meals.
All three options include meals on Saturday for lunch and dinner, and Sunday for breakfast and lunch
- Option 1 - $58 per person with no lodging
- Option 2 - $70 per person with lodging Saturday only
- Option 3 - $90 per person with lodging Friday and Saturday
*Friday evening is optional and requires an additional fee.
