Winnebago County 4-H 2025 Award & Recognition Event

You’re invited to an afternoon of celebration and recognition at the 4-H Recognition Event on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Midway Village, 6799 Guilford Road, Rockford! Join us as we honor the achievements and dedication of our incredible 4-H members in a variety of categories, including:

• Outstanding Secretary
• Outstanding Treasurer
• Champion Choice Award Winners.  These individuals were the Champion or Grand Champion winner selected during the general project shows and the livestock/rabbit/cat/small pet shows. A choice award is a selection of awards that the individual can choose from, ranging from a trophy to a backpack, chair, or tumbler.
• Cloverbuds. Cloverbuds are youth aged 5-7 who are learning about 4-H and working on their own special projects—before transitioning to a 4-H club.
• Outstanding Junior 4-H Club Winner
• Outstanding Senior 4-H Club Winner
• 4-H Club of the Year Award
• Illinois Holstein Friesian Awards
• Experience Award Winners. An Experience Award recognizes 4-H members who have completed an experience in one of the following dimensions: participation, community service, leadership, or project learning. Your award level is determined by the number of experiences you have in each area.  We will be awarding:
  • Bronze Clover Award: 1 experience in each of the 4 dimensions
  • Silver Clover Award: 2 experiences in each of those 4 dimensions-with 2 experiences must be at the county level
  • Gold Clover Award: complete 4 in each of the 4 dimensions, with 2 experiences being beyond the county level
  • Diamond Clover Award: complete 6 or more experiences in 1 dimension, with 4 experiences being beyond the county level
  • Emerald Clover Award: complete 8 or more experiences in 1 dimension, with 4 experiences being beyond the county level
• 4-H Membership Recognition. We will recognize 1st, 5th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th year membership with a pin; all others will receive a certificate
• Youth Leadership Team: Recognition
• 4-H Hall of Fame Winner
• Volunteers Recognition: We will recognize club leaders, superintendents, and other volunteers with the 4-H program.  As well as acknowledging our Extension Council members, Show Board members, and Foundation members
