At the Public Speaking Workshop, youth aged 8-18 will have the opportunity to learn how to write and perform a speech, focusing on how to effectively communicate their message to their audience. They will also learn about the types of speeches that can be used in the 4-H Public Presentation Contest.
Do you have a rough draft? You will have the opportunity to practice and get feedback, if you choose to do so after the presentation.
Join Public Speaking workshop on Tuesday, February 3, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Machine Shed. The snow date is Wednesday, February 4. The Machine Shed is located at 7475 E State Street in Rockford.
