University of Illinois Extension is pleased to offer the 37th annual Stewardship Week Program! Open to youth in grades K-6, our goal is to educate students about the management of our natural land and wildlife resources while exploring new career opportunities.
This event is held on the grounds of the Dixon Springs Agricultural Center in Pope County. We invite you and your class to participate in hands-on activities and presentations from natural resource professionals. Students participating in Stewardship Week will gain a better appreciation and knowledge of what it means to be a good steward of our environment.
To provide activities that are appropriate for various age levels, the week will be structured as follows:
Wednesday, April 22 – Home School Groups
Thursday, April 23 - K through 3rd Grade
Friday, April 24 – 4th through 6th Grade
If you have any questions or need assistance with registration for your class, please contact Bronwyn Aly or Lindsay Adams. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting access needs.
