Seedling Explorers

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join Illinois Extension staff for mornings at the Sterling Township Community Garden. Early elementary and preschool-aged youth enjoy free fun garden education and activities. Siblings and families welcome, parents or a responsible adult should stay.

Be prepared to get your hands dirty. Youth may be exposed to sun, mud, paint, nature, and a lifelong love of gardening. Free, no registration required. Come to as many sessions as you can! For questions or to join the garden school email list, contact Molly Johnson, msedig@illinois.edu
