The Lake County Extension Foundation invites you on Friday, August 28, from 3 - 6 p.m. for an afternoon of raffles, prizes, shopping, & socializing in celebration of gardening, community, and the joy of the season. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a Master Naturalist, or a 4-Her, this garden social fundraising event supports all Illinois Extension programs in Lake and McHenry County.

Event Details 

• Event Admission: tickets can be purchased for $35 per person in advance (early bird discount available)
• Raffles and Auctions: purchase tickets or bid for a chance to win some great themed prizes.
• Live Demonstrations: seasonal planter building.
• Door prizes: admission secures a ticket to enter for a chance to win one of many door prizes.
• Live Music: a delightful jazz trio will serve as a backdrop to your afternoon.
• Refreshments and appetizers: wine (and other non-alcoholic beverages) will be available for your enjoyment, as well as delightful appetizers stationed throughout the garden.
• Photo opportunities: the entire garden will be bursting with blooms for many delightful photo opportunities, plus a special opportunity with a mini-yak for your memorable photos.
