Learn about nature at Wee Nats (Wee Naturalists), a fun, interactive program for youth ages 4-7. Youth will learn about various environmental education topics through a story, an activity, a craft, and a hike. University of Illinois Extension 4-H Youth Educator Kelly Lafferty will offer the program on the second Monday of each month at the Illinois Extension Office at 1040 N 2nd in Rockford. Each program will be held from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m.
An adult must stay with the youth during the program. There is no charge to attend.

September 14 - Endangered Species
October 12 - Autumn
November 9 - Turkeys
December 14 - The 3 R's
January 11 - Hibernation
February 8 - Stargazing
March 8 - March Winds
April 12 - Prairies
May 10 - Insects
Please dress according to the weather, as we will spend time in nature.
