Native Seed Share

Want to plant native plants but not sure where to start? Looking for a specific native plant to complete your landscape? The Native Seed Share is a welcoming, beginner‑friendly event where gardeners and naturalists can exchange native seeds, learn practical tips, and explore Illinois’ native plant diversity. You do not need to bring seeds to receive seeds — everyone is welcome to participate.

Experienced seed gatherers and gardeners will be on hand to share advice, answer questions, and help you choose seeds that fit your landscape and goals. This event is a great way to support local ecosystems, meet fellow plant enthusiasts, and begin your native gardening journey.
