Many of us remember hearing stories from our relatives about how life was back when. Sharing stories or family lore is a way to bond and bring families together. Sometimes we remember or know only pieces of stories and wish that our ancestors had written them down. Have you thought about writing your own life story to share with others?
Why Write Your Stories?
- Deepen Connections: Help family and friends know you better.
- Preserve a Legacy: Give future generations more than names and dates.
- Honor Everyday Life: Ordinary moments often become the memories we remember most.
No prior writing experience necessary and FREE to attend!
Register by calling Hillsboro Area Public Library District at 217-532-3055 or sign up at the library's front desk.
