Clay Art Workshop

Get creative this fall and explore the art of clay with fellow friends and 4-H members! Participants will create two seasonal clay projects: clay Thanksgiving pie magnets and clay leaves. Youth will learn basic hand-building techniques, texture creation, shaping, and finishing methods while expressing their creativity through visual arts. No previous clay experience is required.

This workshop also provides a great opportunity for members interested in exhibiting clay creations at the fair. Participants will learn about acceptable clay media and project options for exhibits. The items created in this workshop also serve as a project that they can take to the fair. Youth ages 8-18 are welcome to participate and do not have to be 4-H members.
