Brittney Muschetto is the 4-H Youth Development Educator serving Grundy, Kankakee, & Will Counties.

Brittney holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Agriculture Leadership, Education and Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she focused on work related to the inclusion of youth with special abilities in the Illinois 4-H Program.  Brittney also has a minor in Horticulture also from the University of Illinois. 

Brittney is an alumna of Will County 4-H, where she was a proud member of the Prairie 4-H Club for 5 years. She was a member of the Will County 4-H Federation, Will County 4-H Ambassadors, and the Speaking for Illinois 4-H Team.

Throughout her 4-H career Brittney served four year on the Illinois State 4-H Youth Leadership Team, two years on the Illinois 4-H Foundation Board of Directors, three years on the University of Illinois Extension State Advisory Council, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Collegiate 4-H.

Brittney also represented Illinois 4-H at National 4-H Congress, Natural 4-H Conference, and National 4-H Poultry Judging Contest. While in college, Brittney worked as an intern at the Illinois State 4-H Office where she gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the 4-H program in Illinois. 

Outside of work and 4-H, Brittney enjoys volunteering as an Illinois Department of Natural Resources Safety Education Instructors. Brittney likes to spend her weekends outdoors with her family, friends, and dogs hiking, biking, fishing, camping and kayaking.
