Angela Miller grew up on a farm in rural eastern New Mexico. Miller, graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art-Photography. While at NMSU, she began working at the New Mexico State 4-H Office helping the State Youth Development Specialist in Agriculture and Natural Resources. After graduating, Miller moved to Texas and began working for Texas A&M University Extension as a County Extension Agent-4-H & Youth Development serving 2 counties. This experience was the first of many working with youth programming.

In 2014 Miller, her husband, and her 2 children moved to Galena, IL and soon after, she began working for University of Illinois Extension as the Program Coordinator 4-H Youth Development in Jo Daviess County. Miller is responsible for managing, monitoring and supporting the 4-H program in Jo Daviess County. She also works with youth, volunteers and other professionals to plan and implement educational programs for all youth in the county.
