Working Together with Avon Township
The University of Illinois Extension and Avon Township have expanded their partnership to bring a broader range of youth programs and educational opportunities to local families. This strengthened collaboration is designed to address community needs, increase access to high‑quality youth development experiences, and build long‑term support systems for young people across the region.

Little Roots 2026 4‑H Cloverbud Gardening Project
Families with young children are invited to dig into a summer of hands‑on learning as the Little Roots 4‑H Cloverbud Gardening Project opens registration for the 2026 season. Designed for children ages 5–7, this engaging program introduces budding gardeners to the joys of planting, growing, and harvesting through simple, weekly activities.
