Emily Reece provides leadership in 4-H Youth Development in southwestern Illinois for Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair counties.
Emily graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, MO, with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. She later attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL, where she graduated with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on Diversity and Equity in Education.
Emily also served as a 4-H Program Coordinator from 2013-2017 for for Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair counties. In that time, she supported 4-H volunteers, youth, and families in all three counties. As a 4-H Youth Development Educator, she provides educational programming focused in leadership, STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, and workforce preparation skills. She also works to strengthen local partnerships and outreach with adult volunteers and area businesses.
