Youth Cooking School

Calling all young chefs ages 9-14! Youth Cooking School is an exciting, hands-on culinary experience designed to build confidence, creativity, and practical life skills in the kitchen.

Participants will:

  • Learn basic cooking and food preparation skills
  • Practice proper kitchen and food safety techniques
  • Discover smart, age-appropriate nutrition tips
  • Follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately

Throughout the program, youth will explore flavors from around the world while preparing delicious recipes in a fun and supportive environment. Each session encourages teamwork, independence, and creativity while helping participants feel confident in the kitchen.

We’re also offering a special Junior edition in July for youth ages 5-8.

Whether your child is brand new to cooking or already loves helping in the kitchen, Youth Cooking School provides meaningful skills they can use at home and beyond.

Sessions will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Madison County Farm Bureau, Turkey Hill Grange, and the Monroe County Annex.
