Kris Juelfs is a Nutrition and Wellness Educator with U of I Extension serving Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair counties. She is passionate about sharing her expertise with both her local community and beyond. A Monroe County native, Kris and her husband are proud to be raising their two teenage daughters in the same area where she grew up. With a master's degree in Community Nutrition from SIU Carbondale and nearly 20 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in various healthcare settings, Kris has found her calling in empowering youth and adults to lead healthier lives. She specializes in nutrition education, cooking skills, food safety, and food preservation, helping individuals and families make lasting, positive changes to their health and well-being.
