DECATUR, Il. — Gardeners from beginner to expert can gather to answer questions, share pictures, and discuss gardening issues during weekly virtual sessions. Anything Grows is a combination weekly virtual help desk and social meeting place hosted by University of Illinois Extension horticulture program serving DeWitt, Macon and Piatt counties.

Join Extension staff and Master Gardener volunteers for the first session of Anything Grows at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 10. These weekly afternoon sessions will be one hour in length and will continue until September 11.

“We love discovering what is going on in your backyard,” says Extension horticulture educator Sarah Vogel. “This is a great way for gardening communities to stay connected and help new gardeners learn to grow.”

Email Sarah Vogel or call 217.877.6042 for more details. Register for Anything Grows. Once registered, participants will receive information on how to connect by computer or phone for any of the weekly sessions.

The horticulture program is a branch of University of Illinois Extension that provides research-based information and training about soil testing, tree health, lawn care, pest identification and control, vegetable gardening and more. The horticulture program also provides Master Gardener training.
