Lights! Camera! Action!

The University of Illinois Extension in Jo Daviess, Stephenson, and Winnebago Counties is excited to announce the 4-H Film Festival, a fantastic opportunity for youth ages 8-18 to showcase their filmmaking talents!

Are you an aspiring film director with dreams of creating your own films? Now is your chance to bring your vision to life! Participants are invited to submit a 1–2-minute film centered around the theme: “My Roots Run Deep.” This theme encourages filmmakers to explore their personal stories, heritage, and the connections that shape who they are.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to express your creativity and share your unique perspective through film. For requirements, registration, and additional information, please visit go.illinois.edu/4Hfilmfestival. Registration fee is $3. The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2024.

Join us in celebrating the artistry of young filmmakers and their stories. We can't wait to see the incredible films you create!

University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment. If you need reasonable accommodations to participate in this program, please call (815) 235-4125.
