Carroll-Lee-Whiteside 4-H’ers to compete in State Public Speaking Contest

Carroll, Lee, and Whiteside County 4-H’ers gathered on Saturday, April 17 to give public speeches at University of Illinois Extension Office in Sterling. 4-H’ers had several different types of speeches to choose from, including, Formal Speech, Illustrated Speech, Original Works, or Oral Interpretation.

Lee –Natalie Pratt, Young Seekers, State Fair Delegate

Emily Sachs, Young Seekers, State Fair Delegate

Kate Viall, Grove Go Getters, State Fair Delegate

Haleigh Wilcox, Grove Go Getters, State Fair Alternate

Whiteside – Madison Krum, Cottonwood, State Fair Delegate

Alex Manon, Genesee Hillbillies, State Fair Delegate

Noah VonHolten, Fenton Wizards, State Fair Alternate

Alexandria Bullard, Fenton Wizards, State Fair Alternate
