4-H members had a busy and rewarding summer exhibiting their projects in local 4-H shows. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm!

Illinois 4-H empowers youth to become the leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, stewards, and builders our state needs through hands-on projects, programs, and virtual activities. By participating in 4-H, members develop leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment, while learning important lessons in responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.

The 4-H program offers various projects, including animal sciences, career and leadership, civic engagement, creative and cultural arts, environmental sciences, STEM, healthy living, gardening, agriculture, food access, shooting sports, and programs for younger members known as Cloverbuds. Through these projects, youth gain valuable skills, explore potential careers, and learn how to impact their communities positively.

Enrollment is now open! To join 4-H, visit go.illinois.edu/jsw or call your County Extension Office:

4-H continues to provide opportunities for youth to grow, learn, and make a positive difference in their communities and beyond
