Evergreens are a traditional decoration for the holidays and that’s for good reason! They smell great, they look great, they last a long time, and they’re available in our own backyards!
University of Illinois Extension will be holding a Decorating with Fresh Evergreens program on Wednesday, December 2 at 6 p.m. State Master Gardener Specialist, Candice Hart will demonstrate how to make wreaths, swags, garlands, and other decor using various evergreens, while also discussing some of the best evergreens to grow in your Illinois garden.
Decorating with Fresh Evergreens will be held on-line using the Zoom meeting platform. Registration is required and can be completed at https://extension.illinois.edu/jsw or by calling (815) 235-4125. Registration cost is $5.
