The University of Illinois Extension will be offering another gardening related program this month. On Wednesday, June 28, Master Gardener Madelynn Wilharm will be presenting “Gardening Gracefully as We Age” at 1:00 pm at the Extension Office in Elizabeth. There is no cost for this program, but registration is requested.

Madelynn will share information, tips and techniques which may allow individuals to continue to do the hobby they love, in spite of physical changes and challenges.  Madelynn has been a U of I Extension Master Gardener for many years, and has been involved by teaching classes, leading gardening projects and working with the group of Master Gardeners to serve the Jo Daviess County gardening community.

To register, call the Extension Office at 815-858-2273 or online at go.illinois.edu/GardeningGracefully. Anyone with horticulture or gardening related questions can also contact the office to reach the Master Gardener Helpline, a free service which provides research based answers to questions about garden, weed, lawn and pest issues.
