General project judging showcases talents of 4-H members

DECATUR, Ill. — The Illinois State Fair welcomed seventy-eight enthusiastic 4-H members from DeWitt, Macon, and Piatt counties to the Orr Building on August 9 for a full day of general project judging. Participants proudly showcased their hard work and creativity through a wide range of exhibits, which remained on display throughout the day.

“This program gives the kids so much more than a ribbon on the wall; 4-H gives them skills and experiences that they will carry with them throughout their whole life,” says 4-H Program Coordinator Kendra Wallace. “We could not be prouder of these 4-H members and their level of dedication to the program.”
