Join University of Illinois Extension Jo Daviess County Master Gardener Volunteers Laurie Gothard-Zueger and Linda Helgeson for a program on Herb Planters. This program will take place on Thursday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office, 204 N. Vine St. Elizabeth, IL. There is a $15 fee to attend this program and participants will leave with an herb planter which all supplies will be provided for. Pre-registration is required due to limited seating. To register or for more information call the Extension office at 815-858-2273 or register online.
Herb gardens are becoming increasingly popular for many reasons. Join Laurie and Linda as they talk about reasons why this is. They will touch on how to grow herbs in small spaces, uses for the herbs you are growing, and how you can potentially overwinter certain types of herbs in your home. You will then be able to plant your own herb container to take home with you.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to attend this program please contact the Extension office at 815-858-2273. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet your needs.
