Jo Daviess County Master Gardeners to Hold Succulent Wreath Program

On Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. the Jo Daviess County Master Gardeners will be holding a class on Succulent Wreaths. The class will be held at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office, 204 Vine St. Elizabeth, IL 61028. There will be a $15 fee to attend the class to help cover the cost of supplies. Come spend some time with the Jo Daviess County Master Gardeners and learn how to make and care for a succulent wreath. Succulents are becoming very popular and are defined as having thick, fleshy, water-storing leaves or stems. Succulents are the perfect type of plant to use to make a wreath for many reasons. Some of which include, needing minimal watering, have few disease and pest problems, can be taken outdoors during the summer, and make great houseplants. Come learn about all of this and more and make your beautiful wreath to take home and enjoy for a long time to come!
