Lee County Extension Foundation to Hold Virtual Dessert Auction

AMBOY, Ill. - Lee County Extension Foundation is holding their famous dessert auction virtually this year! Jump on this delicious opportunity to have some amazing desserts made for Thanksgiving! Money raised during this auction goes back to support the Howard Greenfield Memorial Scholarship and Lee County Extension Foundation Scholarship. These scholarships go to two Lee County 4-H’ers that show excellent leadership, learning through projects, 4-H achievements, and community service.

A few of the freshly made, delicious desserts include; turtles, thanksgiving sugar cookies, cheese cake, thumb prints, dutch apple pie, chocolate fudge, Carol Vaessen’s famous pecan pie, Gale Barnickel’s melt-in-your-mouth creamy lemon pie, Mary Katherine’s delectable cream puffs, and more!

The auction will begin at 3:30pm CST on Friday, November 20, 2020 and will end at 12pm CST on Monday, November 23, 2020.  Bids can be made at facebook.com/4hleecounty  Freshly made desserts must be picked up November 24 or 25.
