Taylorville, Ill. – On Wednesday, September 18, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners of Christian County are hosting a Missouri Botanical Garden bus trip. Master Gardeners and horticulture educator Andrew Holsinger will be aboard for this day of garden fun. We leave from the Christian County Extension office and head to the Missouri Botanical Garden. Upon arrival, we will take a 30-minute tram ride to get an overview of the entire gardens. Meals will be on your own, the Sassafras restaurant is available on the grounds. You may visit the many gardens at your leisure.
Our travel continues to the Bug Store where you can shop for your next addition to your garden. A vast selection of pots, planters, and more are available for purchase at this unique store.
The cost per person of $70 includes bus fare, admission to Missouri Botanical Garden, private tram tour, snacks and water on trip.
