Succession Planning Workshop offered by Illinois Extension

LENA, Ill.-- Succession planning is essential for farm families but is often overlooked. To help farm families start or continue this process, University of Illinois Extension will offer Starting the Conversation: Farm Succession Planning Strategies and Resources for Illinois Farm Families.

The workshop will cover the importance of succession planning, steps to build a plan, and strategies for beginning family conversations. Hands-on activities will be included. The program will be led by Reagen Tibbs, Commercial Agriculture Educator with University of Illinois Extension.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 7, from 6:30–8:00 p.m. at the Lena Community Center, 497 Lions Dr., Lena, IL. Registration is required and can be completed at go.illinois.edu/jsw or by calling (815) 235-4125.
