University of Illinois Extension to Host Understanding Soil Tests Workshop

Taylorville, Ill. – Why test your soil? Testing your soil provides many benefits and can keep you on track for growing successfully all season long. Learn how soil test results can pinpoint nutrient levels in the soil. Healthy soils are important and avoiding heavy metals is a must. Identify what heavy metals could pose a danger in your soil. Join University of Illinois Extension horticulture Educator as he sheds light on the information presented in a soil test analysis.

 

University of Illinois Extension will host an Understanding Soil Tests Workshop held at the Christian County Extension Office 1120 N. Webster St.). Join University of Illinois Extension horticulture educator, Andrew Holsinger, as he presents all the basic concepts for soil testing and analyzing results. This program will take place on Tuesday, August 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
