Beth Chatterton graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in dietetics. She began working in Extension in 2009 with the Family Nutrition Program. In 2011 she became a 4-H program coordinator.

Beth focuses on community 4-H Clubs in McDonough County working alongside 4-H volunteers to ensure that 4-H members and their families get the most out of their 4-H experience. She knows that every child has their strengths and their own unique talents. With patience, new opportunities, and a safe learning environment youth can make their best better and realize their full potential. The McDonough County 4-H program empowers our future leaders with the life skills to create relationships, problem solve, and gain the confidence that is needed to face challenges. Beth believes wholeheartedly that when we invest in our youth they will in turn take pride in their community, and help better the world.
