Nikki Keltner has been an Extension Program Coordinator since 2007. Her background in agriculture has allowed her to become a resource for local producers, accessing information from campus personnel in Champaign-Urbana and Extension Educators from around the state. Nikki works with Extension staff and local partners to assess local programming needs and then works with our specialists and educators to develop targeted programs to serve the commodity and production ag community.
Working closely with local Extension educators, Nikki helps them provide needed programming in Stephenson County in the areas of horticulture, small farms, local foods, and natural resources. Nikki also provides leadership to the Master Gardener volunteers, working closely with the volunteers to offer expanded horticulture programming in Stephenson County.
Nikki graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness/Horticulture. She has worked in a variety of local greenhouses and floral shops.
