509 Front Street, Suite #4 Henry IL 61537
Katharine collaborates with a group of dedicated 4-H volunteers and partners to inspire youth to develop their fullest potential through positive youth development opportunities in Tazewell County. This role gives her the chance to give back to the organization that shaped her into the individual she is today.
Katharine earned her B.S. in Food Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and M.S. in Agricultural Education through University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Katharine was a 10 year 4-H member of Marshall-Putnam Counties, and an Illinois State 4-H Summer 2012 Intern. She joined Extension in December 2015 as a Tazewell SNAP-Ed Instructor, and made the switch to 4-H in June 2016. When she’s not working for 4-H, Katharine can be found doing her OWN 4-H projects! She is currently working on training her puppy and experimenting with gluten free recipes. She can also be found helping out on the fifth-generation family farm with the sheep, chickens and her horse. Once a 4-Her, always a 4-Her!
