Join Champaign County Master Gardeners for a presentation on using water gardens in your landscape with guest speaker Ed Wachala on Tues., Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Extension Auditorium, 801 N. Country Fair Drive, Champaign.

Ed built his first pond 9 years ago, and that was just a beginning.  His garden now has 4 waterfalls & 2 ponds, with one more water feature yet to be created.  Points of inspiration in his landscape includes flowing water features and tall grasses.  Learn how he turned his landscape into an inviting and relaxing retreat that you can replicate in your own yards.

Ed has a BA in Business & a BA in Speech Communication, both from Illinois State University.  After 15 years in corporate America, he went back to school to be an RN.  But, preparing to graduate, he joined the Champaign Police Dept. as a patrolman, retiring a year ago after 22 years of service.
