Participants will grow their own pizza using skills developed in hands on learning activities. Youth will start seeds indoors, plant a container garden, plan and plant an outdoor garden, harvest, and use their goodies to make their own pizza.

Dates for Junior Master Gardener 4-H SPIN Club are Thursday:

  • March 19 from 6 - 7 p.m. - Seed Starting at Macoupin County Extension Office
  • April 23 from 6 - 7 p.m. - Container Garden at Macoupin County Extension Office
  • May 28 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. - Garden Planting at Carey Farm
  • June 18 from 9 - 10 a.m. - Plant Parts We Eat at Macoupin County Extension Office
  • July 23 from 9 - 10 a.m. - Sweet Corn at Carey Farm
  • Aug 6 from 10:30 - Noon - Pizza! at Carey Farm
