Notes on the Event Schedule Change

The impact of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) continues to create uncertainty and concern both globally and here in our community. In accordance with University of Illinois policy, Illinois Extension has deployed public health strategies designed to protect everyone’s health and safety. Effective Friday, March 13, all university-sponsored events with more than 50 anticipated attendees are suspended indefinitely.

Join Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists for the annual Naked Tree Walk featuring your favorite "branches in the buff." Master Naturalist Elizabeth Jeffery will lead the hike around Hessel Park to show how to identify trees by their bark and branches. Horticulture Educator, Ryan Pankau will be along for your tougher questions. Everyone is welcome. Come when you can, stay as long as you wish. Dress accordingly!
