In partnership with the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, University of Illinois 4-H is hosting an educational event on beauty products.
Come learn about chemicals that may be in the products you use, why they may be harmful, and how you can make better choices for yourself. you will also have opportunities to check out and test some of the better brands and learn a few nail art tricks from our presenter, Megan Sieg.
Megan is a 4-H alumni from Dekalb County and is an Environmental Toxicology Scholar in the Neuroscience Program at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Open to middle-schoolers through high school.
Raffle for safer beauty products will conclude the workshop!
