Are you a teacher interested in worm composting for your classroom, but don't know where to start? Join Kankakee County Master Gardener Coordinator, Holly Froning, for a hands on class and learn all about organic decomposition, soil, and the food web. Vermiculture an utilize cafeteria waste and provide a variety of classroom appropriate experiments in the classroom worm bin. 

This vermicomposting program will be held October 6, 2021 at 4pm. Pre-registration is required by September 30, 2021. The fee for this workshop is $5.00. Each participant will receive age appropriate materials and a bin for worm storage.
