Take advantage of preserving at home to enjoy seasonal foods all year long. Learn basics of how to water-bath and pressure can, what foods are involved in each method, and information to increase your confidence in safely preserving. Whether you've canned for years or are brand new, you'll learn steps to get started or refresh current skills.

Participants may bring dial-gauge pressure canner lids to be tested.

The event is free, but participants should contact the library by Feb. 1 at 217-543-2037, in-person, or email admin@arthurlibrary.org to register.
