You might be thinking, what is Taste of Extension? This event is the perfect opportunity for the public to come out, explore our program areas, and get a ‘taste’ of what Extension offers! 

We will have two programs open to youth ages 8-18, which require registration. There will also be a pumpkin pop-up activity youth can participate in. Montgomery County Master Gardeners will be on hand presenting herbs to cook with and how to grow herbs in the wintertime.

Blanket Community Service from 9:30-11AM - Youth will make tie blankets to be donated!

Fall Flowers from 12:30-1:30PM - Youth can make a fall flower arrangement! Parents and grandparents, this would be a fun activity to do together with your child or grandchild. go.illinois.edu/FallFlowers

Local food truck Shine On BBQ will be available on-site to purchase lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM.
