The Quincy Middle FFA Chapter and 4-H in Adams, Brown, Hancock, Pike, and Schuyler counties would like to invite you to attend the Section 11 FFA and 4 H-Dairy Cattle Judging Career Development Event on May 3rd. Check-in will begin at 9:30 am at the Udder Hill Dairy Farm in Carthage, IL. The contest will start at 10:00 am.

Event Details:
  1. Each 4-H Club may enter an unlimited number of members. Team scores will be determined from the three highest-scoring individuals.

  2. If a contestant turns in the wrong card at a particular ring, it shall be scored as turned in at that ring. If a scorecard is lost or misplaced, the contestant shall be scored a zero for that missing ring. Cards will be numbered before the contest.

  3. All teams must pre-register with Kristin Huls, youth development educator, by April 25 (see contact information below). As we are using cards this is a must to make sure we have enough cards made.

Driving Directions:

We will complete all classes at Udder Hill Dairy. The address to Udder Hill Dairy is 1035 N Cty Rd 1900, Carthage, IL 62321. If you are coming from Quincy, you would be on Hwy 336.  Turn west (left) on County Road 1000 (same road as the Bentley turnoff). You will go 1 mile, then turn north (right) on County Road 1900. The farm is ½ mile on the right. Please park on the west side of the road by the machine shed.
