"Growing Great Apples" will take place on Saturday, October 4 at 9:30 a.m. led by Grant McCarty, Local Foods and Small Farms Educator with University of Illinois Extension. McCarty will discuss apple varieties suitable for Northern Illinois, seasonal management of common insects and diseases, and the fundamentals of establishing and managing fruit trees.
